Meet the Bubble & Pea Family

Meet the little ones behind Bubble & Pea. Each of them has shaped our journey in a different way—and continues to remind us why we care so deeply about the food we make and the animals we make it for.

Bubble & Pea

Born February 2018
Joined our family September 2018

Adopted sibling rabbits and the original inspiration behind Bubble & Pea. Pea once suffered serious injuries to her spine and ribs that left her unable to use her hind legs. Both rabbits were also later diagnosed with heart conditions. Yet through years of thoughtful nutrition, rehabilitation, and consistent daily care, they have continued to live stable, active lives as they grow older.

They’re the reason we believe that gentle, consistent care—supported by proper nutrition and thoughtful daily routines—can make a meaningful difference throughout an animal’s life.

Read how it all started with Bubble and Pea.

Little Otter, a dark brown guinea pig with a white chin

Little Otter

Born January 2, 2023
Joined our family February 4, 2023

A guinea pig rescued from a breeding facility. Once malnourished and severely underweight, Little Otter is now healthy, energetic, and thriving. He’s living proof of what proper nutrition, patient care, and the right environment can do for a small animal.

Little Anemone, a cream-and-white guinea pig standing on her hind legs

Little Anemone

Born April 20, 2019
Joined our family July 26, 2024
Crossed the Rainbow Bridge June 15, 2025

Although Little Anemone was with us for less than a year, she went through so much. She came to us as a senior guinea pig with multiple health challenges and later experienced recurring episodes of hypoglycemia, ear infections, and neurological symptoms.

But through it all, she still found so much joy in life. She enjoyed plenty of delicious food, received all the care and attention she needed, and spent her final months surrounded by love and comfort.

Her time with us may have been short, but it was filled with warmth, good food, and so much love.

Bear was a healthy, energetic little hamster throughout most of her life. Even as she grew older, she never developed tumors or experienced any major health problems. Her daily diet included Bubble & Pea hay powder alongside simple boiled meat and fish, and even her teeth remained in good condition without becoming overgrown.

She stayed healthy until her final days, when a sudden severe uterine infection led to multiple organ failure. Until then, she had lived a happy, active, and well-nourished life.

We’ll always remember her as our tiny but incredibly strong little girl.

What We Make for Them Now

Everything we make began with the animals in our own family: hay-based nutrition, finely milled and designed to be mixed with water, without grains, soy, or unnecessary additives.

Today, that same approach lives on in our hay powders for rabbits and guinea pigs, with formulas thoughtfully developed for different everyday needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is behind Bubble & Pea?

Bubble & Pea began in Taiwan with two adopted sibling rabbits, Bubble and Pea. After Pea suffered a serious accident that injured her spine and ribs, their owner began studying rabbit nutrition and developing hay-based powders at home to better support their everyday care.

That experience eventually grew into Bubble & Pea, which was officially founded in 2021.
