Do you make all your hay powders yourselves?

Yes, we do.

Why is it more expensive?

The care we put into our ingredients and preparation is reflected in the price.

Think of the difference between a basic meal and one thoughtfully prepared with premium ingredients—the quality, care and cost are different.

What makes your hay powders special?

We use human-grade ingredients and pharmaceutical-grade milling equipment. Our fine-grinding process breaks down plant cell walls to help make nutrients easier to absorb.

Our own rabbits have eaten our hay powder for eight years and have remained healthy throughout—a feeding routine we trust for the pets we love.

Do you conduct safety tests? Which laboratory do you use?

We send samples of our products to the Toxicology Laboratory at National Dong Hwa University from time to time for pesticide residue and heavy metal testing.

These tests are part of our long-term quality monitoring, rather than a one-time check.

Is Bubble & Pea’s hay powder mainly alfalfa-based? Can it cause bladder sludge?

No. Only a few of our formulas contain alfalfa. The presence of alfalfa alone does not determine whether a food will contribute to bladder sludge—your pet’s overall diet, hydration and individual health also matter.

All of our formulas are carefully balanced hay-based supplementary foods, designed for daily use according to the recommended serving amounts and your pet’s nutritional needs.

Why does the hay powder sometimes form clumps?

We don’t add anti-caking agents, so some light clumping is normal.

Small clumps that break apart easily do not affect product quality. Simply break them up gently before mixing with water.

What if my rabbit doesn’t finish it right away? How long can I keep hay powder after mixing it with water?

Refrigerated, with no saliva contact: approximately 8 hours.

Once your rabbit has started eating, in hot weather: approximately 1 hour.

Once your rabbit has started eating, in an air-conditioned room: approximately 3 hours.
