Frequently Asked Questions
How is Bubble & Pea hay powder made?
We wash all ingredients with RO-purified water, carefully prepare and cut them by hand, and gently dry them at low temperatures using food-grade stainless steel equipment. Once dried, the ingredients are finely micron-milled into a smooth, consistent powder that mixes easily with water and is suitable for everyday feeding or syringe feeding when needed.
What does micron-grinding mean?
Micron-grinding is the final step in our process, where the dried ingredients are milled into an ultra-fine, consistent powder. This creates a smooth texture that mixes easily with water and works well for hay balls, hay puree or syringe feeding.
Are the ingredients tested?
Yes. As part of our quality assurance process, we test for pesticide residues and heavy metals to help ensure the quality and safety of our products.
Is Bubble & Pea hay powder mass-produced?
No. Bubble & Pea hay powder is made in small batches in Taiwan, with each batch freshly prepared and every pouch packed by hand. We don’t mass-produce, allowing us to maintain the freshness and quality standards we expect from every batch.
